Might be a small screen but there's something awesome and focused about the mobile version of Facebook - sometimes I wish the website was trimmed back and simple like the mobile version.

Auren, totally agree ... the location based services are super interesting and think they will continue to push the use of mobile phones in social.

Mobile phones are changing social media by bringing in the notion of location to our networked communication with friends, family, and customers. The business opportunities as well as spin-off social apps are tremendous and surely lucrative.

Mobile Phones, and Smartphones in particular, are changing the way we will do many things, from accessing Social Media sites, to augmented reality, to instant purchases, photography, music, the list goes on. With mobile phone technology capable of doing multiple tasks, rivalling basic notebooks in computing power, it is safe to say the mobile web is part of the continuing evolution of the WWW, and as usage patterns become common knowledge, having a mobile web accessible website will be essential.

Whether they're good or bad i don't care. I love my iphone, couldn't imagine not having it. And on the few times I can't use it (traveling/roaming or something) I go crazy. It keeps me connected to the world. www.freegadgets-laptops.com

It is encouraging to see other businesses starting to finally catch on but overall I am still amazed by the those that are categorically reluctant. This is the same group that has cries of NO growth, NO Opportunities and Boo Hoo The Recession.

Are you serious? There's still companies that think the internet isn't a going concern? ... WOW. I almost feel like you were joking, but I guess I can see how people might still be pushing back.

I think Social Media Sites are the only type of Sites that you can look at on a Mobile. I have tried Opera Mini instead of my default Browser but most of the time is just not the Same looking at most websites in a small screen.

Too many of our clients still somehow believe that they have time later to connect to the internet and get with the monstrous online rush of the masses. I actually have clients that state 'well, we don't understand the 'net', and we don't use all those social sites anyway, so we don't see a reason to do much online advertising... Wow. and Wow again... this graphic is a wake up call to anyone 'waiting' on getting net savvy. that is the absolute wrong call. period. end of story http://www.CrushPageOne.com
