How To Save 1 Million Kittens AND Write Better Emails, Tweets, Updates

I call it the 1-10 shareable meter

It’s super simple and super duper effective.

The next time you go to write an email to your customers, post a tweet, or update your Facebook fan page ask yourself:

On a scale of 1-10, if I received this, how likely would I be to share it with a friend?

Less than a 5 and you’re in SPAM territory. You want strive for 10s and settle for 7s. If you’re sharing 10s all the time you’re lying to yourself — ask someone else to 1-10 your content.

AND Remember: every time you share something less than a 5, god kills 1,000 kittens. And I LOVE kittens, so please filter your content.
