From Commodore to iPad, the members of Generation X saw some incredible advancements in technology and computing. This techno-lution shaped them into the mass-consuming technophiles we know them as today. Let’s take a look at the journey of this plugged-in generation.

Nice work! I remember all of these well. But the C64 is way out of place. The Commodore C64 came out in 1992, and what you have pictured here is the 64C, which came out in 1986.

    That’s a VIC-20

A lot of this graphic is wrong. The early commodore computer was the VIC-20, not VC-2. The WWW was launched in about 1994, not 1990. The C64 was dead by 1990. Ethan, you should have consulted someone who was loving and living it in the 80s before publishing this. :)

Sometimes we move to quickly and don’t review with others … our mistake. Updating this now with your recommendations.

We’ll that’s not nice – how can we improve it? Or you just don’t like the story were telling overall?

I posted this on my site as it will generate interest, but looking at the chart as a person who grew up around that time and is a retro guy there are too many issues with the chart.

Where is the Atari 2600, that game system started a lot of interest in computers
Why is the VIC-20 called the VC-2
Why did you choose the Commodore 64 in the 90s and not the 80s.. The Amiga probably would have been better.
    Where is the Apple II?

I am not a marketing guy and I don’t know where you were going with this.. It caught my interest and so I looked at it.
