The State of YouTube

YouTube is the largest online video community in the world, and one of the Internet’s most visited sites. Created in 2005, this behemoth site continues to grow by leaps and bounds. Recently we have compiled the stats on some of the most interesting aspects of the site: it’s traffic, it’s demographics breakdown,  as well as it’s most popular channels/videos — among other things. The graphic below represents the current state of YouTube:

    I remember the days when the top five videos were all stuff like Charlie Bit My Finger and Evolution of Dance. Those were good days.

    …just one question, how many freaking videos are there on YouTube? spent the last 3 hours following dead end links and false hopes, the interweb it seems is filled with achingly beautiful infographics, none of which it seem answer that most simplest of questions, how many!
