You can now connect Facebook Accounts and Facebook pages to Timely! Which means your Facebook posts just got a whole lot Timlier ;)

This has been the most requested feature since Timely launched last November.

From within your Timely account, if you don’t have one get one here, just click ‘Add Account’ and you’ll now see an option to ‘Connect to Facebook’. Click that bad boy and you’re off to the races.

The timing algorithm works just as it did for Twitter. We pull in the performance of your previous status updates and crunch’em to figure out your best time slots.

The rest is easy peasy. Queue Facebook posts from within Timely and the Bookmarket and get analytics on Click, Likes, Comments per post, all within a single view on the performance page.

Enjoy!

Any plans to add post preview and thumbnail selection when sharing links? Hootsuite does it, but scheduling isn’t as nice as queuing.

No plans yet. Have you tried sharing a link to Facebook yet? We do pull in a thumbnail and proper link display when publishing to Facebook.

    Woohoo! party time.

Does Timely support org Pages on Facebook by any chance?

:-) What do you mean by org Pages?

Fan Pages — they got renamed just Pages right?  For clubs, organizations, communities?  (vs. a personal FB wall)

Yep. That’s what I meant above re: Pages. Connect away :)

I was literally showcasing Timely to one of my clients after going through the implementation of her social media strategy. She asked me at the time ‘Can Timely do updates for Facebook as well?

I said with a massive happy YES! Now it does, in fact it is the best social media tool ever created on this planet earth and I would choose Timely over all other tools. If I could only have one tool, Timely would be my pick!

I just noticed, it looks great. I guess I’ll just be careful to check in case the thumbnail is a bad one.
